Stress Level (High)
Okay, so, it hasn’t even been a full week of senior year yet, and things are already stressing me out, a lot. It’s bad enough that APUSH will dominate my academic life for this whole year, with tests every week and long, detailed chapters every night, but now even more things are piling up. Football is making the band go to away games, so my Thursday will look like this: 2:45-6:00 rehearsal, 6:00-9:00 away game. Okay, did I mention I’m experiencing homework overload? THEN, to make matters worse, Thursday afternoon is my FBLA kickoff meeting for the year. Everything was planned out, scheduled accordingly so that nothing would conflict. Now, band is in the way, and obviously, there’s nothing I can do about that. I’m so excited for this year for FBLA, and there’s so much I need to share with the members, but now I can’t even be there. This sucks. And all of this was last minute, giving me three days notice. Away football game? Why? I really don’t understand. Sleep is a scarce resource right now, and boy, do I wish I could get some more of it. Everything is just on top of everything else, and that kills me, absolutely.
I just need to make it through this week, and then go to the Peer Retreat on Sunday. That will be my time to relax a bit, and bond with some of the most amazing people I know. I’m really looking forward to that. Now, just to get through this week first…
I’m afraid that things will be like this for the next two months or so…did I mention I need to do college apps? Oh no…

Class Evaluations
So, I’ve now experienced all of my classes for this year. Here’s what I’m thinking…
A Days:
French, not bad, shouldn’t be terribly difficult, and the usual French kids in the class, I like them.
PEER, awesome! Just awesome. We’re gonna have an amazing year with lots of fun!
Stat, well, it’s a HUGE class and I know almost everyone in it. Dentler will be fun to have, should be an interesting year.
Accounting, small class, fifteen kids, so very intimate setting. I finally have Ms. Hunte as a teacher, Win!
B Days:
Enviro, I sit next to Laur, Maggie, and Ben. That says it all. :) Zimmer is very strict, but I should be fine. No dumb questions…or else!
English, with Rivera, who’s totally crazy (in a good sense, I guess…), and the class is huge, which I don’t like, since I miss the small class atmosphere of last year.
US History, scariest experience, with the syllabus outlining work specific to the DAY. Thank goodness my first quarter project is the easy one. I wouldn’t have survived having to make the documentary first quarter…phew. 15 kids in the class, all sophomores plus me and Gopal. Kind of weird, and I know I shouldn’t underestimate these sophomores, they’re sharp….
Wind Ensemble, sounded alright today, haha. I’m excited to be playing Angels in the Architecture again. Should be a good experience, playing with Frank Ticheli.
Overall, A Days will be mostly a breeze, and B Days will be hellfire. Senior year though, so I’m just focused on getting through the first two quarters quickly and in a successful fashion. Here.we.go.
